Why, that... is... INGENIOUS!!!
Another thing to try: Stick a piece of hard spaghetti into your victim's banana, through the top. After a while, it will absorb moisture and become soft. Now, when your victim bites into their banana there is a disgusting worm thing inside, and they've eaten half of it!
